DC awarded another prestigious Government contract:
Oct 07

In
March 2007, DC was approached by HM Government to design a
brochure to launch a year of activities to commemorate the
bicentenary of the abolition of the Slave Trade Act.
The brochure was to be distributed under Prime Minister Tony
Blair’s name, throughout the country, and it needed
to strike a sensitive balance between the history of slavery
and its legacy in the modern world. The brochure had to adhere
to strict Government guidelines and challenging timescales.
DC Group's Managing Director Dario Canale says, “We
number several Government departments amongst our clients,
but it was especially pleasing to be awarded this contract.
Our team worked hard to produce a strong eye-catching design
to raise awareness and commemorate this important anniversary.”
Stop Press: following the success of the initial brochure,
HM Government commissioned DC to produce a second brochure
complimenting the first and highlighting the issue of modern-day
slavery practices.
